“Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.”
Psalms 34:18
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit, a comfort for a child carrying heavy burdens.
“But Jesus said, “Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.””
Matthew 19:14
Jesus welcomed children to himself and affirmed their value and place in God's kingdom.
