Deployed overseas, seven more months to go. Missing my wife and my daughter's first steps. Prayers for the guys in my unit too, a couple of them are in a dark place out here.

My wife teaches 4th grade and one of her students is going through more at home than any 9-year-old should. I can't share details. God knows her name. Please just pray for 'M' with me.

Harvest was bad this year and the loan payment is due in November. Third generation on this farm. Praying for a mild fall, a fair banker, and the strength to ask for help if we need it.

Update: my husband's numbers are improving! The doctors are cautiously optimistic. Thank you to everyone who prayed last month, please keep going, we're not out of the woods yet but God is good.
