What does Ruth 1:7 mean?
Naomi has made a difficult decision: after losing her husband and both sons in Moab, a foreign land far from home, she's heading back to Judah where she has family and roots. She doesn't make this journey alone, though. Her two daughters-in-law, Ruth and Orpah (who married her sons), are walking with her into the unknown. This moment captures the beginning of a story about loyalty, grief, and new beginnings.
