Romans 9:29

What does Romans 9:29 mean?
Paul is reminding us that God's faithfulness—not human effort or worthiness—is what preserves His people. He's quoting Isaiah to say that without God's deliberate choice to keep a remnant alive and faithful, the Jewish people would have been completely destroyed, just as Sodom and Gomorrah were wiped out for their rebellion.
