Romans 6:11
βThus consider yourselves also to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.β
What does Romans 6:11 mean?
When you become a Christian, something real shifts in your relationship with sin, even though you might not *feel* it all the time. Paul is inviting you to align your thinking with what's actually true: sin no longer has the final say over your life because you're now connected to Christ's resurrection. This isn't about pretending wrongdoing doesn't tempt you, but about recognizing that your deepest identity and power now come from being alive to God, not from being enslaved to sin. It's an invitation to believe what's true about yourself and let that belief reshape how you live day by day.
