Romans 3:24

What does Romans 3:24 mean?
We're made right with God as a gift, not something we earn or deserve. The word "justified" means our broken relationship with God is repaired, our wrongs are forgiven, and we're declared acceptable to him, but it happens entirely through his grace, his undeserved kindness. This restoration comes through Christ's redemption, meaning Jesus paid the price for our sin through his death and resurrection so we wouldn't have to. For anyone carrying guilt or shame, this verse says that standing before God doesn't depend on how good you've been or how hard you try, but on what Christ has already done.
