Romans 3:25
“whom God sent to be an atoning sacrifice, through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness through the passing over of prior sins, in God’s forbearance;”
What does Romans 3:25 mean?
God presented Jesus as the one whose death would make things right between us and Him, erasing the guilt we carry. This happened through faith in what Jesus accomplished, and it shows God's justice in a beautiful way: He didn't overlook the sins of people who came before Christ, but He was patient with them because He knew this ultimate sacrifice was coming. In other words, Jesus' death wasn't arbitrary or unexpected, but the fulfillment of God's long-standing plan to handle our brokenness while remaining completely fair and true to His character.
