Romans 15:17
“I have therefore my boasting in Christ Jesus in things pertaining to God.”
What does Romans 15:17 mean?
Paul is saying that if he's going to take pride in anything, it's exclusively in what God has done through him, not in his own accomplishments or status. He's not claiming to be humble in a false way, but rather redirecting where genuine confidence belongs: to Christ's work in his life rather than to his own merit or abilities. This matters especially for people who feel like they have nothing to boast about, or who struggle with shame about their past.
