Revelation 7:15
“Therefore they are before the throne of God, they serve him day and night in his temple. He who sits on the throne will spread his tabernacle over them.”
What does Revelation 7:15 mean?
The passage describes the final reality for those who've endured hardship on earth: they'll stand directly before God, serving him in his presence forever. "Day and night" isn't meant literally (there's no time in eternity) but emphasizes continuous, joyful worship without exhaustion or interruption. The image of God spreading his tabernacle (shelter) over them recalls how God protected Israel in the wilderness and promises the ultimate comfort: those who suffered will be completely safe, cared for, and held close by God himself. It's a beautiful promise that struggles now lead to unshakeable peace and belonging with God.
