What does Revelation 7:16 mean?

In this vision of heaven, John is describing the end of all suffering for those who have come through deep hardship. The language about hunger, thirst, and harsh sun speaks to the most basic human struggles, whether literal deprivation or the constant wear of living in a broken world. What he's saying is that in God's presence, every need will be met and every source of pain will be removed, not because we'll stop being human, but because we'll finally exist in a place where nothing can harm or diminish us. It's a promise that whatever exhausts or aches in this life won't follow us into eternity.
