Psalms 50:9
“I have no need for a bull from your stall, nor male goats from your pens.”
What does Psalms 50:9 mean?
God is speaking directly to people who thought their sacrifices of animals were what mattered most. He's saying that he doesn't actually need their livestock or their material offerings, the way a hungry person would need food. What he's getting at is that the external act of sacrifice means nothing if the heart behind it is empty or self-serving.
