Micah 6:4
“For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage. I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.”
What does Micah 6:4 mean?
God is reminding His people of the most foundational act of love in their history, the exodus from Egypt when He freed them from slavery. By naming Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, He's pointing to the specific leaders who guided them through that liberation and their wilderness journey. This is God saying, in essence: "Look at what I've already done for you. I didn't just rescue you once, I sent you people to lead and care for you along the way." It's meant to awaken their sense of gratitude and trust, especially when they're struggling with doubt or unfaithfulness.
