What does Matthew 25:17 mean?

This is part of Jesus's parable about a master who entrusts money (called talents) to three servants before going away. The first servant doubles what he was given, the second does the same, and the third buries his share out of fear. The verse celebrates the second servant's faithfulness, showing that what matters isn't the size of what you're given, but whether you use it wisely and courageously. Whether you have much or little, the invitation is the same: take what's in your hands and do something meaningful with it, trusting that effort and care matter.
