What does Matthew 23:11 mean?
Jesus is flipping the world's idea of power upside down. In his kingdom, true greatness isn't measured by how many people you command or how high you climb, but by how willing you are to serve others and meet their needs. This cuts against everything the culture around him valued, where status and authority were everything. When you choose to humble yourself and genuinely care for people, especially those society overlooks, that's when you're actually living at the highest level in God's eyes.
