What does Matthew 16:10 mean?

Jesus is reminding his disciples of a miracle they witnessed just moments before, where he fed four thousand people with only seven loaves of bread. He's asking them how many baskets of leftovers they collected afterward, which was twelve. By pointing back to this recent sign of God's provision and abundance, Jesus is gently challenging his disciples to remember they don't need to worry about having enough food or resources. They've seen him multiply what little they have more than once now, yet they still seem anxious about practical needs. It's his way of saying: "You know I can provide. Why do you still doubt?"
