What does Matthew 15:6 mean?
Jesus is calling out the religious leaders for creating rules that actually contradict God's commands. In this case, they'd invented a loophole where people could declare their money or resources "corban" (a gift dedicated to God) and then use that claim to avoid supporting aging parents, which violated the commandment to honor father and mother. They were technically following their own rule while breaking God's actual law.
