What does Matthew 13:6 mean?
Jesus is describing seeds that sprouted quickly but couldn't survive when heat came—because they had no real roots going deep into the soil. He's using this as a picture of people who hear God's word with initial excitement but don't let it take root in their hearts, so when difficulty or pressure shows up, their faith just collapses.
