What does Mark 8:20 mean?

Jesus is reminding his disciples of something they'd witnessed not long before: when he fed four thousand people with just seven loaves of bread, there were leftovers. After everyone ate, the disciples collected seven baskets of fragments. He's asking them this question because they've just worried aloud about having no bread, even though they've seen him multiply food twice now. Jesus is gently pointing out that they have every reason to trust him, since he's already demonstrated his ability to provide abundantly. Sometimes when we're anxious about what we lack, we forget the faithful provision we've already experienced.
