What does Mark 5:27 mean?
A woman who had suffered from constant bleeding for twelve years had heard stories about Jesus and his power to heal. She believed so strongly that if she could just touch his clothing, she would be made whole. So she pushed through the crowd around him, approaching from behind to reach out and grab the edge of his garment. It was an act of desperate faith, done quietly and without drawing attention, because she knew her condition would have made her ritually unclean in her culture.
