Mark 5:28
“For she said, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be made well.””
What does Mark 5:28 mean?
A woman who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years believed that even the smallest contact with Jesus would heal her. She didn't need a formal prayer or a public announcement, she thought, just the chance to touch the edge of his garment. Her faith was quiet and desperate, born from years of pain and failed treatments, yet she trusted that Jesus' power was so real and so accessible that it could reach her through a single touch. What's remarkable is that Jesus felt her reach out, turned around, and affirmed her faith rather than dismissing her as presumptuous. Her belief wasn't magical thinking about clothes themselves, but confidence in who Jesus was and what he could do. That kind of humble, reaching faith, even when we're hurting and uncertain, matters deeply to him.
