What does Mark 5:20 mean?
A man who had been trapped in isolation and torment had just been healed by Jesus, and his first instinct was to tell everyone he knew about it. He didn't wait for an official commission or feel like he needed special training, he simply went throughout the ten cities of the Decapolis sharing what Jesus had done in his own life. His joy and gratitude were so genuine that people couldn't help but be amazed, not just by the miracle itself but by the transformation they could see in him. Sometimes the most powerful witness we can offer is simply telling our own story of how Jesus met us where we were.
