What does Mark 2:4 mean?
When a paralyzed man's friends couldn't push through the crowd to reach Jesus, they found another way—literally. They climbed onto the roof of the house where Jesus was teaching, broke through it, and lowered their friend down on his mat right in front of him. It's a powerful picture of friendship that doesn't give up and faith that gets creative when the obvious path is blocked. The damaged roof didn't matter to them; getting their friend to Jesus did.
