What does Mark 10:43 mean?

Jesus is flipping the world's idea of greatness completely upside down. In his kingdom, real power and significance don't come from climbing over others or demanding respect, but from humbling yourself to serve the people around you. He's saying that if you want to matter, to be truly great in God's eyes, you do it by washing dishes, listening to the hurting, showing up for the overlooked, and putting others' needs ahead of your own recognition. It's a radical invitation: the path to significance runs straight through service, not status.
