“But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation, and said to them, “Allow the little children to come to me! Don’t forbid them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.”
What does Mark 10:14 mean?
Jesus' irritation here is worth noticing. His disciples were turning away children, probably thinking they were unimportant or a distraction, but Jesus saw something crucial they'd missed. He's saying that entering God's kingdom isn't about achieving status, proving your worth, or mastering complex rules. It's about having the openness, trust, and lack of pretense that children naturally bring.
