What does Mark 10:13 mean?

People were bringing their children to Jesus because they believed his touch held blessing and healing power. His disciples, perhaps thinking Jesus was too important or busy for such interruptions, tried to turn the children away. What makes this moment tender is that Jesus doesn't simply allow the children to come, but later expresses his frustration at the disciples for blocking them, saying the kingdom of God belongs to people like these little ones. It's a quiet rebuke of how easily we can gatekeep access to God's attention, when Jesus shows us that everyone, especially the vulnerable and small, has full welcome.
