Luke 24:48
“You are witnesses of these things.”
What does Luke 24:48 mean?
Jesus says this to his disciples after his resurrection, reminding them that they've personally seen what happened: his death, his empty tomb, his risen appearance. He's not asking them to repeat secondhand stories or defend a theory, but to simply tell what they actually witnessed. There's something deeply reassuring in that commission, because it means bearing witness doesn't require you to have all the answers or be perfect—it just means sharing what you've genuinely experienced of God's work in your own life. Whatever season you're walking through right now, your honest account of how faith has shown up for you carries real power.
