“But you are those who have continued with me in my trials.”
What does Luke 22:28 mean?
Jesus speaks these words to his disciples at what will be his final meal with them, as he's preparing them for his arrest and death. He's acknowledging that they've stuck with him through the difficult times, the opposition and challenges he's faced throughout his ministry, not just the easy moments when crowds were cheering.
