“I confer on you a kingdom, even as my Father conferred on me,”
What does Luke 22:29 mean?
Jesus says this during his last meal with his disciples, just before his arrest and crucifixion. He's not talking about an earthly power or territory, but about a kingdom of belonging, purpose, and God's reign that he's inviting them into. By saying his Father conferred it on him, Jesus connects their mission directly to God's own authority and promise, assuring them that what they're about to do matters eternally.
