Luke 12:6

What does Luke 12:6 mean?
In Jesus' time, sparrows were the cheapest birds you could buy, so worthless that five of them cost only two small coins. Jesus uses this picture of something so ordinary and insignificant that nobody bothers counting them, yet God knows every single one. The point is breathtaking: if God pays attention to creatures that have almost no market value and that people ignore, how much more does he notice you? When you feel invisible or like you don't matter, this verse reminds you that you're seen and known by God in a way that goes far deeper than the world's measures of worth.
