What does Joshua 1:13 mean?

When Joshua takes over leadership after Moses dies, his first job is to remind the people of God's promise: they will finally have a home where they can settle down and stop wandering. For forty years they've been moving through the wilderness, and now God is saying that the struggle is ending and the reward is coming. Joshua is telling them to hold onto Moses's words not as a burden or a test, but as an anchor of hope. This matters because when we face transition or uncertainty, remembering what God has already promised us can steady our hearts and help us move forward with courage.
