What does John 6:3 mean?

After feeding the five thousand, Jesus needed space to pray and be with his closest followers away from the pressing crowds. Mountains in Scripture often represent places where God draws near, and here Jesus creates that sacred distance intentionally. He's modeling something essential: even in the midst of active ministry and constant demands, we need to step back, quiet ourselves, and tend to our relationship with God and those we love most. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is simply sit with the people who matter most and with the God who sustains us.
