John 6:4

What does John 6:4 mean?
This brief verse sets the scene for one of Jesus's most important teachings. The Passover was the major Jewish festival celebrating God's deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt, so Jerusalem would have been crowded with pilgrims, and people's hearts would be focused on themes of salvation and God's provision.
