John 3:21
βBut he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God.ββ
What does John 3:21 mean?
When we live truthfully and align our actions with what we know is right, we naturally want to bring our lives into the open where they can be examined. This doesn't mean we're looking for praise, but rather that our honest living can withstand scrutiny because it's rooted in God's character and purpose. Jesus is saying that people who genuinely seek God aren't afraid of transparency, because their deeds reflect something real and good working through them. There's deep freedom in this: when our lives are shaped by truth and God's values, we don't have to hide or pretend.
