What does John 15:21 mean?
Jesus is preparing his followers for rejection and hostility by helping them understand its root cause. When people oppose Christians, it's not ultimately about anything the believers did wrong, but because those opponents don't know God the Father. Jesus is saying that persecution comes not from personal failure but from spiritual distance between people and God.
