Job 9:11
“Behold, he goes by me, and I don’t see him. He passes on also, but I don’t perceive him.”
What does Job 9:11 mean?
Job is describing the painful mystery of God's hiddenness during his suffering. He's saying that God moves through his life, yet remains invisible and imperceptible to him, like a presence he cannot grasp or fully understand. In the depths of his anguish, Job feels abandoned, unable to sense God's presence or know what God is doing, even though he believes God is there.
