Jeremiah 6:19

What does Jeremiah 6:19 mean?
God is warning that consequences will naturally flow from choices people have already made. When we ignore wisdom and reject what's good, we don't escape responsibility; instead, we harvest what we've sown through our own decisions. In Jeremiah's time, the people of Judah had repeatedly turned away from God's guidance, and the prophet is announcing that this rejection will catch up with them.
