What does Isaiah 62:9 mean?
When Isaiah speaks of harvesting and gathering in God's sanctuary courts, he's painting a picture of restored blessing where people actually get to enjoy the fruits of their labor instead of having them taken away. During Isaiah's time, Jerusalem was threatened and sometimes conquered, with invaders routinely stealing crops and resources, leaving the people empty-handed and hungry.
