Hebrews 2:12
“saying, “I will declare your name to my brothers. Among of the congregation I will sing your praise.””
What does Hebrews 2:12 mean?
Jesus is promising to make God known to his followers, treating them as his own family and brothers. He's saying he'll speak about God's character and worthiness in front of the whole community of believers, joining them in worship and praise. It's a beautiful image of Jesus not standing apart from us, but standing with us, leading us together in recognizing and celebrating who God is. This verse reminds us that we're never outsiders to Jesus, but rather part of his family that he's eager to lift up before God.
