What does Hebrews 10:20 mean?
The writer of Hebrews is describing Jesus as the one who opened a completely new path for us to reach God. In the ancient temple, only the high priest could enter the innermost holy space (the Most Holy Place) beyond a thick veil, and only once a year. By offering himself, Jesus removed that barrier permanently, so all of us can now approach God directly without a priest acting as a middleman. The "veil" represents everything that once separated us from God, and "his flesh" points to his physical death and sacrifice that made this access possible. It's a radical promise: the way to God is no longer blocked or restricted, but open and alive for anyone who believes.
