Genesis 28:2
“Arise, go to Paddan Aram, to the house of Bethuel your mother’s father. Take a wife from there from the daughters of Laban, your mother’s brother.”
What does Genesis 28:2 mean?
Isaac is sending his son Jacob away to find a wife from among their own extended family rather than marrying a local Canaanite woman.
