Galatians 4:7
“So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”
What does Galatians 4:7 mean?
Paul is writing to people who once felt trapped by religious rules and the pressure to earn God's favor. He's telling them that through faith in Christ, their whole identity has shifted: they're no longer slaves trying to prove themselves, but beloved children with a permanent place in God's family. Being an heir means that everything God has promised and provided belongs to them not because they earned it, but because they're genuinely his children.
