Ezekiel 44:24

What does Ezekiel 44:24 mean?
God is describing what the priests will do in the restored temple community: they'll settle disputes fairly using His standards, uphold His laws consistently, and honor the sacred rhythms He established. The emphasis isn't on harsh judgment but on stability—people knowing exactly what's expected and having trustworthy leaders who don't bend the rules based on politics or preference. When Ezekiel wrote this after Jerusalem's exile, he was offering hope that God's people could rebuild around genuine justice and reliability, not the corruption that had helped bring them down.
