Exodus 6:11
““Go in, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.””
What does Exodus 6:11 mean?
God is calling Moses to do something that feels impossible: walk into the most powerful man in the world and demand freedom for an entire enslaved nation. Pharaoh had already refused Moses before, and the situation had only gotten worse, so Moses likely felt discouraged and doubted whether he could succeed. Yet God's command is clear and direct, without negotiation or backup plan. Sometimes the hardest part of obedience isn't figuring out what we're supposed to do—it's actually going and doing it, especially when we're afraid or when we've already failed once.
