Ephesians 1:12
“to the end that we should be to the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ.”
What does Ephesians 1:12 mean?
Paul is describing what God ultimately wants for us: to live in a way that shows how wonderful he is. He's writing to people who had already placed their faith in Jesus before hearing the complete gospel message, and he's affirming that their hope in Christ wasn't wasted or incomplete. When we trust God and let his character shine through how we live, we become living proof of his greatness to everyone around us.
