“who led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with venomous snakes and scorpions, and thirsty ground where there was no water; who poured water for you out of the rock of flint;”
What does Deuteronomy 8:15 mean?
After forty years wandering in the desert, Moses reminds the Israelites that God sustained them through genuinely dangerous terrain, where venomous creatures and lack of water could have killed them. Instead of letting them perish, God provided miracles like water flowing from stone, showing that he was present and caring even when circumstances looked impossible.
