What does Acts 22:11 mean?
Paul is describing the moment after his encounter with the risen Jesus on the Damascus road, when a blinding light left him temporarily sightless. The physical blindness mirrored something deeper: his entire understanding of who Jesus was had just been shattered and remade in an instant. What's striking here is that Paul didn't stumble forward alone in confusion and fear, but was guided by the hands of his companions, showing us how we sometimes need others to steady us when our world has been turned upside down. Even in his helplessness and disorientation, Paul was being led toward the very city where he would meet Ananias and begin his transformation from persecutor to apostle.
