What does Acts 11:21 mean?
When Luke writes that "the hand of the Lord was with them," he's describing God's active presence and power working through the believers in Antioch as they shared their faith. The phrase captures something real that the early Christians experienced: a sense that God was genuinely at work, opening hearts and removing obstacles. As a result, many people didn't just intellectually agree with the message about Jesus, but actually turned their lives around and committed themselves to following him.
