What does 1 Corinthians 14:30 mean?

Paul is describing how spiritual gifts should work practically in church gatherings. If someone receives a fresh insight or message from God while another person is already speaking, the first speaker should stop and let the second person share what they've been given. This reflects Paul's bigger point in this chapter: spiritual gifts are meant to serve and build up the whole community, not showcase individual speakers. The principle here is that God's leading matters more than completing a prepared speech, and the gathered church benefits when people stay flexible and humble enough to step aside when the Spirit prompts something new.
