What does Zechariah 2:2 mean?
Zechariah is having a vision where he encounters an angel holding a measuring line. When he asks where the angel is headed, the answer points to something deeply hopeful: Jerusalem is about to be measured and restored. In the ancient world, measuring a city was the first step toward rebuilding and establishing its boundaries—it meant someone cared enough to invest in its future.
