Romans 9:24
βus, whom he also called, not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles?β
What does Romans 9:24 mean?
Paul is reminding us that God's call to faith and belonging isn't limited to Jewish people, but extends to all nations and all kinds of people. In the early church, this was genuinely revolutionary: Jewish believers were learning that God's grace was as free and full for non-Jews as it was for them, and Gentile believers were discovering they belonged just as completely. The "whom he also called" points to God's active invitation to come into relationship with him, and that invitation is wide open, regardless of your background or where you come from.
